I have fourteen years of experience in content strategy, user experience and visual design. I am currently a lead designer at Panera Bread. I’ve had a nice mix of client side and agency side experience in my career so far. The start of my career was in the agency side, dealing with several clients at once, managing tight deadlines and several rounds of revisions. Agency life has taught me how to manage my time, work well under pressure, and hit the ground running when UX is needed on a project. I’ve have experience across several industries; finance, consumer electronics, higher education and healthcare to name a few. Curious to know more? Check out my resume!

Writing has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. Sometimes when I have something to say, but I’m not sure how to say it, I just start to write and the words eventually morph and mold into something I’m quite proud of. Check out some of the articles I’ve had published over my career!

Testimonials

Andy is adept at thinking about, and switching between, long-view strategy and near-term pragmatic implementation. We worked together on a team chartered with developing a product strategy offering, which required being able to create a compelling story, think through the longer term vision for the offering, while also balancing the need to create something which was achievable in the short term. Andy’s perspective, ability to contribute to the thinking and nuts and bolts implementation, and design sensibility, pushed the project forward. I’d be more than happy to work with Andy again!

I worked with Andy at Cantina for several years, and while I never had the opportunity to work with him directly on a project, it was a pleasure just working at the same company. Andy made himself a core part of the company, bringing his talents and generosity to all aspects of working there. He played a key role in developing a fun, informative, and robust weekly meeting for the design team (but open to all) that has become a central part of the company’s culture. He’s always willing to share his expertise; several years ago he gave an excellent, advice-packed internal talk on presenting to clients that I still refer to. Andy will be a huge asset to any team he belongs to and I hope I get another chance to work with him one day.
— Matthias Ferber (Cantina Consulting)
“Andrew was my counselee as well as worked directly with me on a website project for a large financial services company. He was always a pleasure to work with, proactively taking on work, asking questions and having quick turnaround times for the work that was delegated to him. He also actively involves himself in company events and internal initiatives. He has a good sense of humour, very reliable, resourceful and a fast learner - All great qualities to have. I highly recommend Andy!”
— Meeta Mathur (Associate User Experience Director, Isobar)
“Andrew and I collaborated on The College of New Rochelle project while at OHO Interactive. Together we brainstormed how to solve client and customer needs through content needs and user experience. Andrew looked for interesting ways solutions with forward thinking techniques and executed site maps and wireframes for a complex, multi-layered site. He is adaptive, curious, personable, and earnest—qualities that will make him a valuable asset to any team.”
— Jane Goldman (Senior Content Strategist, OHO Interactive)
“I met Andrew when he was an intern in the Department of Innovation and Technology (Boston City Hall). He was one of the trainers for the Web Content and Design class that I took, and right away, I was impressed by his professionalism, knowledge, skills, and great personality. Andrew was never once condescending, and was extremely patient and helpful to everyone. Even after the class, he was always available to answer questions and to assist with our department’s website-related projects. I highly recommend him, and have no doubt that he will be a wonderful asset to any company/organization.”
— Helen Wong (Boston Election Department, Board of Election Commissioners)
“I worked with Andrew as the Web Liaison for the Mayor’s Environmental and Energy Services Cabinet. He was always easy to communicate with and very dependable, he met deadlines that we set for work updates and always communicated in advance about web-related issues that might affect our Cabinet. He’s also a pleasure to work with and is very personable. He’d be a great asset to any office.”
— Katie Painter (Web Content Manager, Department of Innovation and Technology, Boston City Hall)
“Andrew worked with me full time during a six month internship. During that time, I was very impressed with his professionalism, organization and mastery of skills. Andrew made valuable contributions in decision making meetings with senior staff, worked with representatives from other departments to enhance their websites and communicated with constituents to connect them to services. He also played a key role in the implementation of our content management system, helping non-technical users make website updates. I highly recommend Andrew and welcome any questions about his qualifications.”
